1 May – 31 July 2009:
The annual “Rains Retreat” will be held next summer beginning May 1.  The Buddha himself started the tradition of spending the rainy summer season in retreat with his monks.  This retreat follows in that tradition.  In brief, the teachings and practices of the retreat will cover the essential points taught by the Buddha as being the most important for those who desire to progress on the path to awakening.  A detailed description of the retreat is featured on the News page of this site.
Those who are unable to attend the entire retreat but would like to attend part of it should email info@meditate-Thailand.com to find out about the sections that are open for partial attendance.
Special accommodations rates will be in effect for those who are able to attend 2 months or all 3 months of this retreat.  Email info@meditate-thailand.com for details.
